Generative design techniques can generate and evaluate over 10,000 alignment cases within 36 hours, optimizing tunnel routes against designer-defined objective functions. Automation techniques in tunnel design offer significant advantages — enabling iterative adjustments due to changed boundary conditions and utilizing optimization solvers to improve structural design. Digital twin technologies enable real-time decision support, asset performance optimization, and predictive maintenance for tunnel and offshore systems. BIM integration with AI-based design systems allows automated design verification and section optimization without additional finite element calculations. My postgraduate credentials include specialized training in floating wind turbine design and fixed offshore structures, as well as comprehensive studies in NATM and TBM tunnel engineering.
